Very disrespectful service. We brought a car for a checkup and all was good. Then I brought in my trailer for a fix at the scheduled time. Their team appeared to be at the lunch and I was proposed to wait a bit. 45 mins later the team was still having lunch and managers at the counter could not do anything about it.
I brought in my Freightliner after it started losing power on the highway. I depend on this truck for my deliveries, so I was really stressed out. The team at D&A Mechanics diagnosed the issue quickly — it was a fuel system problem — and had it fixed faster than I expected. Prices were fair, and they kept me updated during the whole process. Truck runs smooth now. Definitely a shop you can trust.
I towed a car up to Caledon, made it back to Newmarket, and the caliper on my tow truck seized up. It started smoking, so I pulled into the closest mechanic shop I could find. The guys at D & A got my truck in right away, and put a new caliper on so I could get home safe (3 & 1/2 hours away). I'm extremely thankful considering I stopped for help on a Friday evening before closing time. Most of the parts places were closed, but they still managed to get me going. Had a coolent leak while on the road on my Kenworth straight truck. Came to D&A, they fixed the issue withing an hour and had me back on the road. I just walked in, no appointment and they didn't turn me away. Good service and reasonably priced.
These guys really know their stuff, I highly recommend them for fleet services right down to small repairs. Accredited Ontario Safety testing facility and all-around good people. Thank you, gentlemen, for taking care of our fleet!
Popped in today because of an emission error on my car with no appointment. They diagnosed quickly and told me it was not a real issue plus they didn’t charge me anything. I am grateful for honest mechanics in our city. Will be recommending others and coming back in the future!
