Purchased an item on Aug 12th - was supposed to be delivered in 2 - 3 days, called them 3 times - always an excuse - last call they were going to call me back - that was 3 days ago....never shopping there again
I was very disappointed with the way the staff, especially the store manager (Zara), behaved. As a long-time Melanie customer, I expect better service, but this location has been extremely disappointing. I will be reporting this to head office, as I’ve also seen similar concerns from other customers regarding the manager’s behavior.
**Disappointed with Lack of Transparency** I recently purchased an **earrings and necklace set** from Upper Canada Mall**. Unfortunately, after trying them at home, I found the earrings were too heavy for me. When I returned to the store **three days later**, I was told that **earrings are final sale** and cannot be returned. While I understand return policies exist, I wish this had been **clearly communicated at the time of purchase**—not just written on the receipt, which I saw only after buying. This lack of transparency made for a frustrating experience. If you're shopping here, be sure to ask about their return policy before purchasing.
I love the Newmarket location of Melanie Lyne. The staff do not push or hassle and I feel like they genuine want to help. I always enjoy my experience shopping there. Always.
Deceitful and dishonest! They did not honour their return policy for a dress I purchased online for my daughters wedding which clearly stated I had 14 days to return it. When I went into the store the same day I received the dress, the clerk told me their policy changed and I could not longer receive a refund and only a store credit. "Customer service" replied, there was a new policy - sorry you missed it?! I have a screen shot of their policy on my order confirmation email that says I have 14 days to return the dress. Unbelievably horrible way to treat a customer. I would never step foot in this 'store' again.
Very small store compared to some of the other chain. 2/3 of the store is sale items. Makes it junky. Clear out 1/2 the sale items and send them to the putlet centre on Dufferin st.in Vaughan. Friendly sales staff. But Promenade mall store is more attentive and much better organized.
