10/10 Knowledgeable staff who take the time for pets who come in with their owners. My dog loves going to this store. She knows the way and gets excited before we even park. Vivian and Isaac make my dogs feel so special and loved. Thanks guys for making our visits so joyful.
I just had the most amazing experience with global pets in Newmarket. Both of the young ladies working there were extremely polite and went well above the responsibility and helping me . I wish all employees had the same respect and courtesy, especially the ones with disabilities.
Wow, what can I say This store literally has it all ! The selection is varied and prices are very reasonable. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I found out that this location are the hosts of New'barket too !
I just discovered that Global was near my house. I had a very pleasant first experience there today. The gentleman kindly helped guide me to the cat food section and explained where all the cat food was stored. He also pointed out all the brands they carry. While checking out, he answered my questions about discounts etc. This is now my go-to pet good store. Thanks for your kind service.
The Global Pet Food store at 130 Davis Drive in Newmarket is a gem. The service is outstanding and Jasmine makes it a delight to shop there. She is knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and efficient. Gill knows everything you ever wanted or needed to know about birds (and other things). Starla is very sweet, helpful, and accommodating. Isaac is kind and efficient. Vivian is very professional and efficient. The Global Pet Food store at 130 Davis Drive in Newmarket has a large range of items, excellent service, and wonderful personnel and is the perfect destination for all our pet care needs. Why would we shop anywhere else?
Normally I have really good experiences here, but this time when I went in with my puppy who’s ears are cropped one of the employees who I’ve never seen before (younger boy) commented on her ears (I’m used to getting questions about her ears as I know it’s a very controversial topic). After explaining that her ears were cropped when she was younger, he stated his opinion that “people who do that are horrible”. Now I understand that people are entitled to their own opinions, but when working with customers who’s animals do have cropped ears, it might be a good idea to keep your opinions to yourself as you have now called a customer a horrible person and will probably not see this costumer again.
I wanted to buy few things for my dog and one of them was a toy. On the picture it is hard to tell the quality of the toy. So before purchasing the order, I went in person to store and called them because with COVID lockdown you cant go in the store. When I called behind the door, male answered a phone and I asked him if i could please see the toy in person before buying it because I would like to see the quality of it. He told me you cant come in the store and i said yes i know.. I asked him could he bring the toy out for me so I could see the toy before buying?! He was very irritated and sighed , said to me you want to see the toys, how many toys do you want to buy? I told him, just one toy i would like to see, he sighed again and said ugh, well which toy is it that you want to see?!? At this point i said to him you know what, forget it, i will go somewhere else, which I did. This was rude and lazy customer service. Good job for earning yourself a one star review and losing a customer that used to loved coming there. Therefore now I wont be retuning and hoping this review will help you build your customer service for better.
