Sarah was the third customer service representative that approached me that day and after almost giving up, Sarah saved the day! We instantly clicked! Her personality was amazing, and through our conversations she proved to be a very genuine woman. She was excellent at creating a personalized shopping experience while still meeting my individual needs and the business needs (meeting my budget and providing excellent recommendations and assistance with sizes while in the changing room) Truly a wonderful lady and it’s so nice to know that genuine stranger-connections still happen! I go to athletic stores a lot and I always like the workers but the staff at this Athleta are the BEST! I love going here because they are all friendly and helpful but they also don't pressure you at all.
I never leave reviews for stores but felt their salesperson, Hilary, deserved praise. I came in earlier this week 2.5 weeks postpartum and feeling discouraged about my wardrobe. She was incredible. So kind, relatable and spent a solid hour if not more helping me find a few pieces that felt good. She offered for me to bring my baby to the store and nurse him, was so understanding and just really provided incredible customer service. It’s not every day that you feel seen and heard by salespeople these days. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
I visited Athleta for the first time yesterday, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience, especially because I’m not overly a fan of shopping. The staff were friendly and supportive without being pushy at all. I was able to ask questions and they got answered in a casual, accepting, and friendly way. Selina really went the extra mile in assisting me in locating what I needed as well, even suggesting similar items that I missed in the store. The fit and quality of clothing is definitely there, which is pieced together so perfectly with incredible customer support.
I was so excited for athleta to open a branch close to me. I wanted to finally try my clothing before purchasing them. However, when I entered the store, my drive to shop dropped to zero and shopaholic-I walked out of the store empty handed. There were 3 people sales people around the store who completely ignored me. The customer service (the woman in her 40s) was unfriendly, standoffish, and cold. I asked a couple of questions from a woman behind the counter that obviously didn't want to be there. News flash! I shop from the store only if I feel I am welcomed. Otherwise, I would go online. It's cheaper and the selection is broader. The woman in customer service answered my questions forcefully. I got better reaction from the bots on athleta website. I will keep to online shopping. I visited the store on the day after opening since i needed some outfits for my vacation. During my vacation my friend visited the store and received the the same attitude.
