I had a great meal and some of the best pizza I've ever had. The owner was extremely kind and the staff was great. The new ownership has made this place incredible.
I have had to ammend my review. This place was bought out about a year or so ago and things have not stayed the same. The panzo, which was a staple of theirs, is now tiny and barely has any toppings in it. The most egregious issue though, is that they changed the sauce. Palace was known for having the best sauce in the game, but it definitely isn't the same anymore. I'm assuming they aren't using the same quality ingredients as the previous owners used because I've tried it 5 or 6 times since the new owners took over and it's definitely not the same. It's still decent, but it was elite.... I used to drive from Bradford at least once a month to enjoy their pizza because it was that good... sadly it no longer is.
Well, I haven’t been here since the new owners took over. I had a random urge to give it a try. I shouldn’t have. I’m stuck searching for that old palace pizza taste with quality Saputo cheese and ingredients. The crust is similar; but the signature sauce is not. It will just be a memory now. Ok pizza, but there are so many “ok” pizza shops. Palace Pizza was AMAZING back in the day.
Ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce and they used meat sauce. There are literally only two options on the menu for spaghetti and they still got it wrong. I couldn't eat because I'm vegan
Came here late on a Thursday evening. I decided to get a late pasta dinner of Spaghetti and Meatballs with a side of Garlic bread. The food was exceptional though the service could have been more attentive.
New owners. Used to go here, was great before it was bought out by new owners. Prices have gone up, no more home made dip (packaged dipping sauce now and it’s double the price). 12 chicken wings for $23.00 (i honestly couldn’t believe this, not to mention the wings were probably the worst I’ve ever had). Pizza recipe has changed, no longer put cheese over ingredients. Safe to say I’ll never return here again unless the previous owners buy it back. Really is a shame that this place has and is going down hill, used to be a local favourite for the 50 years previously, and now it’s gone.
The pizza is really good. Love the crust and sauce! The girl behind the counter was really nice and accommodating. Only thing I would change is inside the restaurant they don't have any music playing so it was really quiet.
