I have been going to Hair Blvd since the day the salon opened and have never been disappointed. Along with cut, colour, and recently a major change from dark brown to blonde balayage, they have also done my hair for many events including my wedding, and it has always looked fantastic. I have tried high end salons in major cities across the country but always find myself coming back to Hair Blvd (even if I have to travel). Hair Blvd is truly the only salon I trust unequivocally with my hair.
I left the salon with the overall length longer on one side. The length was checked at the end of the appointment while I was standing and the mistake was still missed. I went back to the salon the same day and had the issue fixed. For the $80+ I paid, I feel this was unacceptable.The hair wash was fast and not very relaxing.The girl at the reception desk was nice though.I will be honest and say that I was 15 minutes late for the appointment, although due to legitimate reasons. This isn't necessarily the reason for the poor quality cut, but if the full time slot was needed, please be honest with the customer about what can and can't be completed within the shorter time. The client can then make the decision to stay or to rebook.
Pascal and his team are always incredible. Amazing atmosphere, everyone is always smiling and joking. You really feel like you are treated well here. I highly recommend Pascal or David.
Service was great when they first opened but has declined considerably since then. The place is loud, the staff are rude and look miserable (as if they don't want to be there), the hair consultation is a joke, the hair washing is done so quickly and isn't relaxing. Service was 100% better many years ago. Lately I feel the staff are rushed and could care less (stylist was interrupted several times by other staff members talking to them, which I found quite rude and a waste of my appt. time). Definitely not worth the money. I had a cut done by a L4 stylist and had to go back because my hair was uneven! I might expect that from a L1 but not a L4.
The haircut was terrible had to go elsewhere to fix it and the colour was just as bad. Had to have my colour toned down because it was not what I asked. The service was horrible and the music was atrocious. Having to listen to terrible music for 1.5 hours was unbelievable.
