Gymalaya has been super fun for my 2 year old, we started as soon as she turned 18months old with the toddler program and the staff really supported the integration of her to the class. The facilities are always clean and the teachers are very supportive with her. We will continue coming here for many years to come! Keep up the good work
We just had a birthday party for my children at Gymalaya Newmarket and they had a great time! The staff were helpful with set-up/clean-up and the instructors were great at managing the kids in the gym. We loved that the walls of the party room were already so colourful so we didn't have to bring in much decor. The only thing that I would request a change for (and the reason why I've given 4.5 stars - more than 4 but less than 5) is the amount of time given for set-up...15 minutes wasn't nearly enough and it was all very rushed and chaotic. They say that it is adequate time because it can be set up while the kids are in the gym playing, but ideally for the price we paid (which is not a small amount of money), it would have been nice to be able to have 30 min to set up and then be able to greet the guests and spend time with everyone. Also, it would have given some leeway for latecomers to not miss so much of the gym time. For those doing a party there, I'd suggest for the party start time to be right when set-up is, so that the gym session can start 15 min later when hopefully everyone attending is present. All in all, we were happy with our party there and would recommend it to others.
We truly enjoyed our birthday party experience with Gymalaya! It was the first place where I didn't have to do anything for the party to run smoothly, just enjoy watching the kids. The staff set up the room, organized the kids, served all of the food to the kids and parents, and helped with the clean up. We only got positive feedback from all of the parents that kids had a blast. I definitely recommend this location.
Baby gym class is mostly sitting in a circle, flipping the kids and jumping around singing songs. No different than the circle groups you pay half the price for. There is 10-15 minutes of climbing around only. I do not recommend this class if your baby is a mover like mine.
My son had his 5th birthday party there yesterday and it was such an amazing party! The staff are extremely friendly, kept the kids busy with lots of different activities and all in all they went above and beyond to make Clinton's special day perfect! No stress of set up & clean up they did it all. Thanks again
We have been going to Gymalaya Newmarket since my girls were one. This is a fantastic place for kids to learn gymnastics, listening, social, and physical skills, while having a great time. The staff is amazing and the facility/equipment is clean and well maintained. Just last week we had my twin's 4th birthday party there and it was AMAZING! The staff took care of all the setup and clean up, as well as entertaining the kids! Every guest had fun and the kids were all tuckered out at the end of the day! :)) I HIGHLY recommend this place for both classes and parties. A big THANK YOU to Jessica, Michelle, Lisa, and all the other amazing coaches there. We appreciate all that you do for us and the kids.
Thank you so much to the staff at Gymalaya for hosting my daughter's 6th Birthday Party this past weekend. Everything (and I mean everything) went off without a hitch! The set up was quick (with so much help from staff) and the children had a blast! The hour in the gym area was just enough time! My daughter loved the "birthday chair" and I am so happy that we were able to get group photos. The 45 mins in the room afterwards went so smoothly thanks to staff taking charge. We did not feel rushed and it was nice to small talk with the other parents. We did not have to do anything - the food was service by staff, the fruits/veggies handed out by staff, the cake was lit and brought to my daughter by staff, the cupcakes were handed out by staff....there literally was nothing we had to do! We were able to truly enjoy ourselves as well. This has been by far the best party we have had! Again, huge shout out/thank you to Gymalaya and staff! :)
We had my daughters 4th Birthday party at Gymalaya. The staff and facility were exceptional. I highly recommend for both classes and Birthday celebrations!
Great gym, our kids love it. Instructors are very knowledgeable and handle the kids will. For day camps there's always lots of fun activities for them. Definitely a good place to sign your kids up for after school activities or for summer camp. They even have drop in availabikity during summer camp for when you need to drop the kids off for a day.
