Me and my friend have been going to the Upper Canada Mall Mind Games store for several years. We both know the staff are friendly, knowlegable and professional and greet us with a smile and hello. We always feel comfortable and welcome. The staff knows when we just feel like looking/shopping and are also there for us when we have questions. Never ever felt pressure to buy and always felt we were treated as loyal customers in a very relaxed environment. Another thing I must say is that I have noticed over the years, the inventory is always fresh and never feels stale. I enter the store with the thought I will find something different and gets my mind working as to how it will fit in with what I need or that I can get for someone else as a gift. I really appreciate this store and all the staff that I have met over the years.
The cashier did not tell me there were no returns until after I purchased the items. As soon as this was said I tried to return it as that seemed really shady. The weird manager came and told me that they don't even have to tell us about no returns and said "it's just a courtesy we sometimes do" and pointed at a tiny sign that said no returns. Literally scammers, never buying anything here again.
I absolutely do not recommend this store. The goods they just received 20 minutes ago were priced at $20, and the website also listed the price as $20. However, when I went to pay, they told me the price had changed to $40. Are you kidding me? The online price is still $20. The staff and manager said it was changed on their backend, and customer service told me there's nothing they can do, this is the price. I wish you close down soon.
Recently visited Upper Canada Mall and came across Mind Games store. It has a good variety of "old school" games (puzzles, board games, card games) as well as pop toys. It is a nice place to browse and see what the latest board games are. The store is well organized and entertaining as you walk around. If you're looking for some table top board games or puzzles, this is the place to visit.
