Drove all the way to Newmarket with my daughter on her birthday to purchase a doll and accessories, only to found out they have closed the showroom. This was not noted anywhere, and Google hours showed they were open. One extremely disappointed birthday girl.
These dolls are complete garbage. The quality is not worth price. The clothes are so hard to get on and off and very cheap. Shoes and boots hard to get on and off. Shirts are like trying to put on a size small on Chris Farley. Wish I didn't waste my money and went with American girl dolls.

I was so happy to find out that Maplelea existed and I did not have to go to American Girl anymore. I love how Maplelea built a brand on Canadian heritage and supports fellow Canadians in such a way that educates, inspires, and motivates people, especially, the young generation. In addition, I appreciate how the president of Maplelea, Kathryn Gallagher Morton, is involved with Maplelea and continues to make it diverse and free. The dolls are incredibly made out of perfection, and, note how the Kathryn is honest about where the dolls are made of and what sources their clothes came from, etc. Most companies are not and focused on profit of their consumers. Maplelea is an honest company, ran by a brilliant woman and team, and I'm glad Maplelea is here to stay!

On top of providing a high quality product, Maplelea’s customer service went above and beyond what I would expect from a great company. They were efficient with emails and provided a solution quickly that was in place before I even received word that they had fixed the solution. They made sure my purchase was going to make it on time for Christmas with only days left. Open only fall until the start of winter (Christmas). Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. You can touch, take pictures and even read details about each doll before you decide your purchases. Nobody rushes you, you can order whenever you want and you get your product on the spot. I actually ordered online and picked up in the store but ended spending an hour there just browsing (starry-eyed). They offer shipping too. It's a small showroom located at the back of their warehouse but all their products are displayed so I got a good feel of the quality of each item. Makes me proud as a canadian mom the dedication put on these dolls.
