I usually take out/uber eats from Castle John's. Food is always amazing, today however, I got the same order as always chefs chicken curry, the food was really really good, that I felt the need to call the restaurant and make sure the cook was aware. We usually get chicken souvlaki, chefs chicken curry, and wings. No disappointments. Food is always flavorful, packed nicely and neatly for take out and always hot. Service is amazing. 5/5.
4 of us met for lunch at 12:30 today. The old Sports Bar setup has been comfortably set up with a smaller bar area with the main part being the restaurant area where we sat in a booth. There are also tables. Jesse our server was very helpful and fun, adding to the atmosphere. And the food was enjoyed by all 4 of us. 2 of our group come regularly which says something about the food quality. 2 of us had a Greek wrap and the other 2 had a salmon fillet. With 2 drinks between 4 of us we spent $25 each for our lunch. Money well spent.
Had the seafood chowder,absolutely amazing. My partner and I also had wings which were perfect. Our waitress Jessie was excellent. Hats off to Sathis chef for his chowder..Will definitely be back.
Butter chicken and salad were together on same plate making salad warm. Service was slower than usual. I believe they didn't anticipate the crowds. The TVs showing game 7 of world series were blueish and main TV behind bar on red bars appearing making it a little tough to watch.
The service was awful. There was a jays game on, and they were understaffed. My steak was rare, garlic bread with cheese undercooked. Not a great experience unfortunately
It's close to closing time for all other places this restaurant and a full menu is available late at night. I was more than satisfied given the time of day
Good food,fair price and friendly staff. But please pay more attention to cleanliness.It's been years we are coming to this place and washroom is always a mess.Today we sat outside the table and chairs were dusty and sticky. Feb 24, 2025 update I reduce 4 star to 2 Not only the washrooms are still a mess we also found a mouse running all over the floor? The 2 stars are for friendly staff, but we would consider another place as our go to place regarding the cleanliness
