Nigiri Ya is a regular for our family. The fish is excellent, tonkatsu (pork) and the sauce is a favourite. I recommend the butter fish, it is delicious! Good value, fresh fish, and informal dine-in atmosphere.
They calculate the tip on sub-total + tax, that's basically stealing. Maybe it's my fault for not putting the exact amount. I thought enough restaurants got called out on this before so I'm surprised it's still going on. I had the grilled Chicken and it was tasteless and cold.
Super quiet place owned by a Cantonese family. Family is super nice and accommodating. The rolls are very affordable. Cash or debit only. Lots of people getting take out from here.
I sat down to eat here and everything was amazing from the customer service to the food. Its very well made and looks professional, good amount of food I got for the portion. I will be coming back and I highly recommend this place especially if your sitting in to eat.
Really wished this place was here when I worked in Newmarket! Really really good, fresh and affordable food! The bento box was huge and delicious and sushi fresh. Friendly service.
Had Sunday lunch. Tried variety of food (bara-don, sushi, gyoza, karaage). Food is ok/decent & a bit on the expensive side. Not big fan of gyozas which were deep fried. Karaage was not very moist probably because pieces are small. Rest was ok/good. Ended up.$62 before tip.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This place is so unhygienic and the server was extremely rude. When I told her there was a fly in my water she just took the cup without saying A WORD. Food was decent but the service was a 0 out of 10. Had to call her uo for water refills also. The experience was very disappoint. DONOT COME HERE.
