Hello, Let me share the absolute delight of what I witnessed. On one of my rare pregnancy mornings without nausea — a miracle in itself — I decided I wanted soup. A very specific soup. So I asked my partner to drive me to a neighbouring town, and we came to this restaurant. And there I became the lucky witness of everything that unfolded. Tell me, why on earth should a pregnant woman be getting stressed, irritated, and dragged into unnecessary conflict? Yet here we were — because the owner of this restaurant behaves in a way that is completely inappropriate and utterly unprofessional on every possible level. Apparently, no one ever explained to him that orders must be repeated back, clarified, confirmed… and that the guest is always right. No one taught him even the basics of customer service. And, for some mysterious reason, no one ever told him that sometimes a tiny refund — a small gesture of goodwill — can work miracles. It could have spared everyone a pointless scene. All ten people sitting in that dining room wouldn’t have had to listen to this argument. It was unnecessary, embarrassing, and absolutely not worth it. We are talking about what — around 25 dollars? Twenty-five dollars he insisted we must pay for a dish we declined. Twenty-five dollars, yet everyone’s mood in the room was ruined. Every single person turned their head. This alone shows a complete lack of understanding of how hospitality works. And then there’s the chipped tableware. I kept quiet for so long, honestly. But how many times have we come here and seen the same thing? Constantly chipped plates and bowls. What is it — financial problems? Cost-cutting? Or is this simply the standard here? And of course, I just loved the sight of the owner walking around in the same shoes he wears outside. A “restaurateur,” apparently… welcoming guests in his outdoor footwear. Incredible. And dressed in completely unprofessional, everyday clothes — straight from the street. He was standing there, right in the dining area, violating every basic sanitary norm without even noticing. Truly impressive. A masterclass in how not to run an establishment. What can I say — the level of “professionalism” and “understanding” we witnessed today was something special.

A good surprise. I worry with ramen spots but this was really good. We got the seafood salad which was good. The pork gyoza was alright- recommend to get it deep fried instead of pan fried because they weren't as crispy as promised. We also got the chicken karaage which was DELICIOUS. For ramen ...the black garlic beef was the star! Highly recommend. Also got the shoyu sliced pork the pork itself was fantastic...but the broth was a little too light in flavor for me. Added some garlic and chili oil to help. Overall good spot! Would definitely come back for the chicken and the black garlic beef!

I had a previous review on here but I guess it was removed… the food here is too salty. My chicken Karage was supposed to come with mayo and when I asked the waitress for some she looked at me confused and came back 10 minutes later with the smallest portion of mayo. I’ve been to multiple ajisen’s and this was the most disappointing location Try Kinton Ramen at Yonge and Greenlane, 10 X better

My family called to ask a question about a pick up order and the boss got on the phone and just started yelling at my mom without giving her a chance to speak, I like the food but the owner seems like a massive jerk
