I just had yogurt with berries and granola with some coffee while I waited for my tires to get changed across the street but I would definitely go back to try a full breakfast
Very good place to go with family if you want to enjoy a nice breakfast.. Had nice and delicious egg and bacon, burger and pan cake was awesome.. Highly recommend..
Do you love waiting around watching the minutes of your life tick by as you slowly creep towards your impending death? Then you will love Sunnyside grill Newmarket! This is an attraction for the waiting enthusiast! Watch as no one takes any sort of care into prioritizing your order and you must wait 45 to 50 minutes before they even start making it! What a truly incredible experience for the person that loves to wait and slowly contemplate their inevitable death. The waitress offered me some beverage but I declined as I would've much preferred a bed, pillow or electric chair. Definitely some improvements could be made in the types of party favors they offer. I have to warn you, however, if you don't like waiting then stay clear of this place. This is a place for when you have absolutely nothing to do and you're minutes from death, so you won't regret your decisions in life.
Thanks Meagan for the great service. The coffee was delicious and the kitchen is always amazing. Compared to so many breakfast places in town this is my favorite for breakfast or lunch. The portions are very generous and the price is so fair. If you haven't tried it please do because it's a little gem in the same plaza as Coops restaurant. I promise you will be thrilled
I know this stuff happens and it doesn’t reflect the restaurant overall but I ordered the poached California and the avocado was sliced in half and no more? Just two huge chunks and was not ripe enough to eat :(( so gross
Good location, lots of natural sunlight, super friendly staff. Only complaint was that my sausages were burnt black on one side which they plated facing downward to ‘hide’ from view, didn’t end up eating them and wasn’t worth sending back. The food was otherwise great!
I have only been to this restaurant a couple of times, but it has been highly recommended by friends who visit it frequently. I’m not sure of the name of our server, but he was cheerful, super friendly, and very attentive and efficient. If it helps to identify him, both times it was Thursday morning around 10:00 am. The first time I had a breakfast special, I don’t recall what the special was on that day, but I DO know that I was quite impressed by the quality of the food. The second time I had the ‘build your own’ omelette, and it was delicious! The portion size was ample, and I probably could have split it, or taken half of it home, but it was so yummy, I ended up eating it all! I wish I’d taken pictures of my meal(s), but I was hungry, and it was gone before I thought of it. I’d highly recommend Sunnyside Grill. It was super clean, yet had that ‘old school’ atmosphere. I’ll be back for sure!!
