We stopped in for a quick breakfast and had a great experience! Our food was ready within minutes and reasonably priced! Service was extremely friendly!
The food was beyond expectations! The spicy sausage omelette is a must. They even have choices for hot sauce. I will be back frequently. It's also open for breakfast on Christmas day.
Our family have become regulars at this charming diner in Aurora. Alice is the most wonderful hostess and treats everyone who walks through the door like family! I don’t think she forgets a face!. The food is delicious and plentiful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We love it and have made it a Sunday morning family tradition. Thank you for the wonderful care and service!
We went in on Monday and we noticed it was busy and we’re prepared to wait for our food. However, after over an hour of sitting there and every other table sat after us being served, we asked how much longer the wait for our food would be. Our server processed to tell us “well I warned you it was busy…” which he actually never said to us. Had we known it was over an hour before they even started preparing our food, we simply would have chosen a different place to eat. I didn’t appreciate being lied to and then being told it was our own fault for coming on a holiday Monday. Will absolutely not return to this location. Much better service at the other two in town.
Went on Mother's Day and they made it enjoyable. The place was packed, and for the $$$ we had too much! Felt nice considering how many times inflation has made portions so small. Average $$ was $12 for a dish I guess. Thanks for everything. This was our leftovers!
I ordered soft poached eggs and they were done just right. Many places overcook their soft poached eggs, not at Daybreak. I did not see maple syrup on the menu. The toast came dry with 2 packets of butter, 1 packet of peanut butter and 1 packet of jam. The pancakes came with table syrup. I don't eat table syrup so I used the butter and jam on them. Our Hostess ensured our coffee was topped up. Excellent service. We will return.
Ordered French toast to go. It was dry, but more likely had to do with the minimal amount of syrup provided. Had to throw the last two pieces away. Place was dead when I got there and now I see why. Owners who give a little extra get a lot more. Instead of trying to get all you lost during COVID, take care of your customers now or your doors will be locked. May cost a little more for an extra ounce of syrup or dab of butter, but it goes a long way in building customer satisfaction. If an EggSmart or Wimpy's opens nearby, you could be in trouble.
