I was extremely happy with my visit. The Veggie Sub was absolutely delicious—truly full of savory vegetables and cheese. More importantly, the service was excellent and professional, making the whole experience a winner. Great food and great results from the team!
I have eaten a many Firehouse Subs, this place had the worst bread I don't know what it was but my Hero sub just tasted like bread. No taste to the meat the fillings or the sauce just all bread. Waste of money will not be back.
Understaffed and overpriced for the quality of service. (Experienced Nov 16, 2025, 2:15PM, two staff members, male and female in appearance, came back at 4:10PM different male employee) Took them more than 20 minutes to make a sandwhich. The reason I say more than is because I had to leave due to the fact that I only had a 15 minute break. Came back later to get my sandwhich and they told me there was a half hour delay because of Uber Eats orders. Okay and understandable, was probably a decent chunk of the restaurant's income for the day, no shame in that. BUT, why not tell customers that up front? Why not say, "Hi, welcome to Firehouse Subs, we are currently experiencing a large numbers of orders right now, the expected wait time is half an hour for your sandwhich. Would you still like to order?". If you told me that, I would have thanked you and left. That's good customer service. It's Honesty. Taking my money and expecting me to wait half an hour for a sandwhich when most people can't wait that long and have other responsibilities to tend to? That's dishonesty and I think the employees there knew that. When I pointed out to them that they should be more up front with people about their wait times, they put the burden of determining their wait times (which was based on the number of Uber Eats orders that 2PM lunch (were you expecting me to check your IPad to determine how busy you are?)) on me. When I got back at 4:10, they proceeded to expedite my sandwhich over everyone else's when I got in. You can say that's to be nice, which it was. But if they had me wait like they did before, I think they knew it'd take half an hour again and would make the poor management and staffing look worse. So I issue this challenge to management. I'll be back in 2 months. If the number of staff is still 2 people and the wait time for a sandwich is over half an hour, I'd like a call from head management. I was told the girl working that day was the manager, if true, she should know she's swamped and needs more staff. As an aside, a customer in front of me mentioned that he gets a pickle everytime he's been there, even though he specifically doesn't ask for it and he pointed this out to the male employee. I also didn't ask for a pickle. Guess what I got? A wet and slimy pickle right on top of my sandwich, just what I didn't order. If you have pickle allergies, do not go here.
Food is decent, if expensive. Staff is friendly enough, if a bit dishonest. Their "quick 10 second survey" is a quicksand pit of multiplying questions. Answer at 3 stars or below? Write out an explanation or you can't move on. Liked your sub? Great. Answer 3 - 6 questions about ingredients, heat, order time. Better not answer below four stars. Liked our store? Great. Answer another 3 - 6 questions, including "how clean was our sidewalk?" If the survey has been presented as 3 - 5 minutes, fine. But the guys at the counter *repeated and emphasized* that it was a quick 10 seconds, and when the incentive is to get a brownie or cookie or whatever, asking 9 - 18 questions (additional written explanations if you're below 4 stars) regarding the order when you're most likely to do the survey while waiting for your food is absurd. Really pissed me off
Subs are good but employees need to be trained on safe handling of food as someone could end up seriously ill. Today I went in to order a sub and the employee had just finished making someone else’s sub. She kept her food gloves on, cashed me out and touched the screen and machine all over the place wearing those gloves, and then went back to the food area and started touching and wiping off the cutting boards with her contaminated gloves. She was about to start preparing my food with those gloves on so I had to stop her and ask her to change them before touching my food. This is basic food handling 101. Management should be retraining these employees. I won’t be coming back after seeing this.
Let me first say. The sandwich is amazing. But this particular location is badly mismanaged. You can't have only 1 staff working. It makes things so slow to get served. Every other location I have been to .. always 3 minimum and they are moving. Also ... bring the life's back!!!
The New York steamer recommended by Harshil was great I like the flavour of corn beef & pastrami. I will surely be back to try French dip & brisket subs. Very clean place love the atmosphere here and specially the staff
