Very happy owners of a Maltipoo from Pet's Friend who is now one years old. Our dog is healthy and happy with a terrific personality. We would recommend getting your dog here.
I got a shorkie from this store as a gift in October. He is almost 9 months old now and is the sweetest and happiest puppy. No health issues as he is very healthy. Also, no behavioural problems. He is so friendly, loves people and other animals. I love him so much. I know pet stores do have a bad reputation but I recommend this store if you want a happy, lovable, adorable, and healthy puppy.
Brought our kids in. They of course wanted a pup. It was between a white one that shed (that my 4yr old had been playing with) and a black maltipoo. We stepped outside of door to talk. We even said that as we stepped out. We were no more than 4-5 mins. Came back in and one of the 3 maltipoos were in the playpen my daughter was in. So she started playing with it to get a feel for it. There were 2 females and 1 male. However only the male and 1 female were available, the other female had a deposit on it. There was a family holding the 2 others and when the employee told us it could be either of the females it didnt matter, we wanted the one my daughter was playing with. However...the other family came over and scooped the pup out of the pen that my 4yr old was playing with! I said to the employee that was right there, um...thats the pup my daughter wanted. The employee giggled and said, it doesnt matter they all look alike. And I said ya but this ones a girl. To which the employee said well these guys want a girl too! My 4 year old was HEART BROKEN! I couldnt believe the employee just let that happen and then outright laughed about it. The other family didnt flinch either as my daughter freaked out when they just scooped the pup up from her. I was DISGUSTED!!! Even called them from pkg lot (with daughter still hysterical) and spoke to the second employee (a male) to which he said well sorry that happened to you but if you didnt have a deposit we cant do anything. WHAT?!!!! This other family had no deposit either AND my 4yr old was playing with it. This family scooped it up from her while playing!!! I would not recommend ANYONE purchase ANYTHING from this business. They deserve to be OUT OF BUSINESS. ITS HORRIFYING!!!!
Staff is incredibly rude. Dozens of puppies walking around in poop with empty water bowls. I would have loved to look at the pups all day but the woman working there had a repulsive attitude. Made me very sad that this is the type of person caring for all those sweet babies. :(
Comes and spend your money on overpriced mutts, you will be sorrySo this is the same place that used to be in Richmond Hill. How uncanny. Richmond Hill at least has a decent bylaw, heaven forbid, Newmarket would do so too.Please be smart and do your research people. This place only wants money and does not give a $$%# about the poor animals in the place.By the way, do not let all the four star reviews make you change your mind, I would not be surprised if they were all family members of the owners.
