This place needs to be shut down. First of all the state of the poor animals in those fish tanks and small animal cages was atrocious. The smell hits you in the face when you walk by. Myself and my fiance were looking into adopting a rat and they had one available that they bragged about. Telling us how nice and social she was. They offered to let us hold her and she bit my fiance very very hard. Hard enough to make him bleed profusely. There was a puddle of blood on the floor and when he asked for help the lady had the audacity to tell him to wait because she was on the phone. They were quicker to clean the blood then give him a bandaid and disinfectant. The lady told us she was embarrassed and rushed us out of the store. Needless to say we went to the doctors for a tetanus shot immediately. Avoid this puppy mill and the most ignorant irresponsible business I have ever had the displeasure of walking into, at all costs.
Staff was very under educated about the animals in store. At least that's how I felt. I felt I could of done better without the "help"
We just bought a pair of new additions to our family today. The staff were very knowledgeable and educational in helping us choose the right fit for what we were looking for today. Even though we were not there for fish this time, I have to say they have a great aquarium section. The dwarf hamsters we bought are incredibly tame and so friendly, what really surprised me the most is when placijgnone of them down on a foreign surface it preferred to climb back on my hand. It was soooooo cute to see my youngest playing with them. It's amazing how much a 10 year old can bond with even the world's smallest creatures.
Very expensive! Went nextdoor to Wally's and what I bought for 6$ for 5 in the bag, was 3$ for 10 in the bag at Wally's! Half the toys are missing pieces, for the same price still. I have no idea about the pets there, I wouldn't buy from a pet store. I'm not saying this one does, but a lot buy from unethical breeders, like puppy mills etc.
