This location has really gone down hill over the years . Prices have gone up and portion sizes have gone down. Now the Quility is suffering too. Yesterday after waiting quite awhile for my order I returned home and my fish look like it had been attacked by a wild animal. It was totally shredded. Left me very disappointed and honestly cannot return back after many years of supporting this location. It’s clear the new owners just don’t care about repeat business. No I didn’t go back. No I didn’t call. They just lost a loyal customer. EDIT. wow i did not come 20 minutes late at all. I came right on time, if not a few minutes early, and waited another 10-15 minutes. Excuses now. your fries portions are all over the place don't tell me they are portioned from the franchise. The lying has now cemented me being done with this location period.
Great tasty food. The waitress was really nice. I ordered a bottle of beer, and she poured it for me right at the table. A small detail, but it made the experience feel extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I arrived to have breakfast at 9:08 am on a Friday….not open, I decided to give the benefit of doubt to them and waited till 9:32 am and they were still not open. Very disappointing, I will not have breakfast here again. I went to Subway next door for breakfast instead. The google business profile says they are open from 9am to 8pm on Friday.
Average size piece of fish. The fries are horrible. For what I got it’s overpriced . J’s on Leslie, senior special two pieces of fish and fries, coleslaw and a can of Coke $17 That place is highly recommended. Never been disappointed like tonight. Had a reply from the owner tonight obviously not interested in what people think about his food . Well I come from the land of fish and chips which we are famous for, and that order that you gave me that night was the worst I’ve had … sorry
Fish is pretty good here and decent portion but i’ll be honest it was very sad to see a hot dog by used as garlic bread and the charge is 7.95 and that’s without cheese ☹️other places sell for half this and it’s a real bakery ciabatta bun. Considering the price of dinner the effort to serve real bread would likely go a very long way to satisfying customers Poor quality considering the other items . The pop being added to the bill then later removed was a conversation we had in the store and even when it was corrected you did not say outside drink was not permitted . you smiled and said no problem we fix the bill and apologized for the mix up saying you were very busy . there were 3 other customers and 5 staff . The drink was visible and staff didn’t not say it was not permitted otherwise it would have been happily disposed of on the spot . . I know the difference between a sub bun and hot dog bun . most people do. It is a review of the product and it fell far below the standard most food stores serve. The Fish is awesome but the garlic bread is a misleading and a rip off . period
Haven’t been to a halibut house for some time . Food I received seemed it came out of a box .Expecting long fish fillets instead we got square pieces Not going back
Was delicious fish and chip in the area but looks like new owners cheaped out. $18 fish and chips with only half filled take out containers cause they were too cheap to fill it with fries. Don't think I'll be going back, despite wanting to support local businesses. There are others in the area.
