We visited the Upper Canada Mall location . We were charged $36 for 3 ice creams, even though only one person ordered a double scoop. The rest ordered single scoops. The associate asked if we wanted toppings like nuts and chocolate, and we said yes — but we weren’t told there would be an extra charge of $1.75 per topping! , which added $10 to our bill. When we noticed the scoop issue, she refunded $7 and also gave us a free ice cream coupon, which we appreciated — but we still ended up paying $30, which felt very high for what we ordered. We’re sharing this so others are aware of the extra topping charges and can double-check their receipts. We still enjoy Purdys, but this experience made us more cautious

5 minutes before close, came in,lady told me twice that they close in 5 minutes,I said no worries I'll grab a lot different chocolates and I good to go. Buying presents for my friends in usa. Paid and after I figure, maybe to change peanut butter chocolates for something else in case someone have allergy. Cashier saying sorry you can't return it's our policy. I said that I didn't touch it. No sign nothing, only you'll figure out on receipt when you paid it

I always have the loveliest time at Purdy's, I'm served very well by every employee I've seen. I'm allergic to dairy and they offer an amazing vegan alternative! I just tried their new holiday box that has four new flavours. It has fig, mango, raspberry, and Tonka (kind of vanilla like) and I was blown away! Especially that raspberry one! I hope in the future they can add the Vegan raspberry to the mall choose your own counter!

The cholateria in general is very tasty, but today unfortunately we went to the Newmarket mall and the lady who was attending named Bella served us very badly she threw the ice cream at us and she was serving us with a very bad face I think we bought the ice cream and nobody gave it to us for free and I think as a customer you just want to order an ice cream for your family and enjoy, at least I will not return because of the bad treatment of the girl I'm sorry.

I loved this place. Very interesting tour on how they make chocolate and the background on the business and owner. You'll find that you have actually tried alot of the businesses product. If you're not into chocolate then you shouldn't even be looking at this.

Excellent chocolates - love the orange creams! Small ice cream selection compared to some other places in the mall, but they dip the cones in a hardening chocolate (milk or white) for that extra little something. The staff are friendly and very knowledgable about the flavours, ingredient origins and the company's charity work.
