Good deals, clean decent produce. Staff were reasonably knowledgeable but not up to par for perfect, HOWEVER we are all human.
Prices were relatively good and it wasn't too crowded. Lots of gradmas and grandpas grocery shopping in the morning. When i arrived I was surprised that now we had to put a dollar coin to use the shopping cart. Last time as far as I remember it was $25c. I guess it has been a long time I wasn't grocery shopping at this location. Cashier was friendly. Parking is easy and most of the time not full. Make it easy to find a parking spot close to the door if you are buying lots of things.
Great store! I buy my groceries here every week. The store is clean and well organized. Good prices. Friendly staff. Lots of free parking. Remember to bring a $1 coin (loonie) for the grocery cart. The store does NOT accept Visa, but you can pay with Mastercard, debit card or cash. The only negative thing I can say is that frequently I have encountered panhandlers in front of the store and in the parking lot hassling customers for spare change. I even had one of these guys follow me to my car asking me if I could give him a ride somewhere...yeah..I don't think so.
The cashier checking out reminded me for optimum card asked also if I wanted to redeem my points and it saved me 10.00. She was so pleasant wishing me a lovely afternoon .
One of the top notch supermarkets in Newmarket. Lots of parking and easily accessible by wheelchairs. Affordable and fresh, this supermarket is well laid out and professionally staffed. Washrooms are also provided here. Ditto that they don't sell fresh made food here or cakes, but you can't have everything!
