The staff here is amazing! So incredibly friendly and supportive. We rent from them every weekend and every Saturday when we arrive, the van is ready and waiting - sometimes with the engine running in the winter to warm it up for us. The level of customer service here is unparalleled,. They are open early, late, weekends and on holidays so you always can get what you need. We won't rent from anyone else. Keep up the great work, Team!
Our experience started out with a phone call two days before our move. We were told that the truck size we had reserved was not available. The initial option offered was to drive to Richmond Hill (half an hour in the wrong direction) or to Newmarket and have a truck 5 feet shorter than requested. The lady was nice enough to give us a larger truck as the same cost. We went to pick up our truck and had to wait half an hour to "check in." I had already done this online. The lady then says to us that there was a wait because we we early. Our reservation was for 9am not 10am. During the check in we were told that there was a 1/4 tank of gas. I asked if this would be enough fuel to get us to our location ... She snarled back that the tank is a 200+L tank and there would be more than enough fuel. Unreal. After we loaded up the truck we were less than 20km into our drive the truck starts having problems. The RPM's were incredibly high. I called the location we rented from to see if we could switch out the trucks as I knew they had another truck that was the same size. We were told this is not an option and we have to call the hotline. We burned an entire 1/4 tank of fuel from Aurora to Bradford and I had to out $75 fuel just to get it back to a 1/4. Because of the truck problems it took us 3 and a half hours to get to our new home when it should've taken a little over an hour. Because of the truck problems we wasted a ton of money on gas and our help (our friends and family) had to wait additional time on both ends because of U-Haul.
Went there on January 5th when it was about -30C outside. Needed a truck for a few hours to move some appliances around. The stuff was very polite and thoughtful and warmed the truck ahead of time. Pricing and mileage was discussed clearly and upfront. Will be going there again when needed and also recommend.
Rude staff, no parking on site, very long wait times and good luck getting what you confirm with them over the phone. A brutal experience all around!
We only rented a trailer and were treated like first class customers. Every person was friendly and helpful. Helped to connect it and disconnect and great directions. I would go out of my way to rent from here again.
