Had a wonderful experience today with Andy. I never received the receipt for my purchase via email and I am sure I am to blame as I was in a hurry and must have entered the wrong email. Since my purchases were Christmas presents I really needed the receipt. Andy went above on beyond with patience and kindness and finally tracked it down. Thanks Andy for the outstanding customer service.
Very disappointing experience at SportChek. I was charged $170 for boots that were clearly marked $124 on the display. When I went back to correct it, the cashier was polite and very understanding , yet the manager Greg was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. He gave me constant pushback, barely bothered to check the display, and spoke to me in an irritated tone.. even though the pricing mistake was clearly the store’s error. I eventually found the removed sticker myself, proving the correct price. Only then did Greg reluctantly agree to honor it, still visibly annoyed. To make it worse, another customer beside me had the exact same issue, and Greg brushed her off too. He then loudly told staff to “take the sticker off immediately,” as if this was some personal loss to him It was unprofessional and really embarrassing for both customers and employees. His attitude and complete lack of customer service made what should’ve been a simple two-minute correction feel very uncomfortable.
I made a few purchases today at the Newmarket store including coats as gifts. I was assisted by SAM, who was extremely helpful with my selection and also with explaining the Triangle rewards program. Due to Sam's customer service, I will shop there more often.
Store was big and clean lots of stuff to look at but went there to to buy something for a goalie (hockey) they have nothing for hockey goalies not even sticks
My bike was in storage for several years, (and it looked it..it was dirty and full of dust) and in the process somehow it became damaged. I brought my bike into Sportchek in Newmarket. The associate in the repair shop was extremely informative, and obviously has a passion for bikes. When I went to pick it up, I was pleasantly surprised that not only was it fix correctly, but it had been cleaned to point that it looked brand new! I did not expect that at all!!! That is white glove service!! Great job!!!
I had a wonderful experience buying new shoes for my daughters for back to school at Sport Chek in the Upper Canada Mall. The cashier was a very kind and friendly young lady named Cath, I believe. It made our experience amazing. Thank you Sport Chek for well training your employees!!!!!
Ordered online from Newmarket location. 5 sticks for 26.99 each. But they're actually 20.99? Is it an old sticker? Did I buy sticks that are 10 years old? Ahhhh I'm confused...
We went in there to buy our baseball gear and the store had the worst selection . The staff was rude and completely unknowledgeable. We went to national sports in the 404 plaza and got everything we needed and at great prices !!
I came into this location yesterday October 6th in hopes of finding a new winter jacket I could wear at work. I needed black. I found the most amazing jacket just to find out they didnt have my size and the last one was at another store to far away. I asked them if they could order it in. Long story short I was told I need to pre pay. I was uncomfortable doing this as I hadnt even tried the colour on. I asked to speak to a manager to voice my concern. I was then helped by Jack Glenny. He went so far above and beyond for me and found the perfect solution. I was ultimately given a discount on a different coat. All the staff were updated on the situation and the purchase process was so smooth. I would highly recommend this store and Jack to anyone looking to make a purchase. I can see why he is the manager here because his customer service rocks and Ill definitely be returning to the store! Thank you Jack!
Very nice new location in the Mall. Found a pair of tennis shoes at a discount. There were a few models from which to choose. The staff were helpful and quick. Parking is readily available
