I can’t say enough wonderful things about Red Rooster! Every time I dine here, the service is always amazing and the food is consistently delicious — true Portuguese comfort cuisine at its best. This past Sunday, I hosted my daughter’s baby shower and had it catered by Red Rooster. After speaking with the owner, Dina — who was incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful — I felt completely confident in my choices. They prepared a beautiful variety of dishes for 60 guests, and everyone absolutely loved the food. I received endless compliments throughout the event! I will always trust Red Rooster for my parties and special occasions. Thank you to Dina and the entire team for your outstanding service and exceptional food. Highly recommended!
The chicken slices here are the best. I love the hot sauce. I visit the Newmarket store and Ricardo, the serves is the best. Highly recommend this place.
We catered our holiday event with Red Rooster and the food was exceptionally tasty! Dina and Inez provided amazing customer service all throughout the ordering process and the food arrived hot and beautifully arranged. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely order from here again in the future!
Please update ordered takeout and when I picked up the food I noticed proce was different from what i had checked on their website. I hope the management updates their website for better customer experience.
Compared to the Red Rooster I visited in Maple years ago, the food quality is lower, portion size smaller and more costly. The decor is certainly better but not much so as to distinguish itself among competitors. The seats were uncomfortable and that alone is a potential dealbreaker. Who wants to dine in a state of discomfort? The service was not particularly noteworthy and minimally acceptable. On the whole, it was an unremarkable experience. Given other available and comparable options, I will not be returning.
We enjoy the food everytime! The chicken and sides are fresh and flavourful and their peri peri as well as their salad dressing are incredible! Service is friendly and quick!
Overall, it is solid portuguese food when the chicken isn't overcooked. It's not like back home or some of my go-to places, but it will serve purpose when I have a craving.
