I recently had my 2nd total knee replacement in April 2025. (I had my first in March 2024.) My husband recommended York Rehab and that is where I found Fiona MacKenzie, physiotherapist extraordinaire! Her knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm for what she does translates to an intense, but enjoyable workout. I truly appreciate everything she did for me. I enjoyed learning more about the anatomy of the situation while being able to discuss my feelings. I walk with no knee pain at all, and now work out at a gym with a trainer after graduating from Fiona's care. I would not hesitate to happily recommend her and York Rehab Associates. Amazing service, very personable staff and excellent explanation on what we were doing, the problem/pain I was experiencing and what we are doing to correct it. I'd give 6 stars if I could! Felt heard and appreciated as an individual with a unique set of circumstances. Will update as rehab progresses but I am extremely optimistic that I have found the person to help me.
See foot dr there... she's so good at what she does n very very kind and pleasant to visit with while u get the foot care u need! She even does home visit ex for seniors N zero pain which i was worried about.
Let say this , if you need rehab this is the goto place . They will go the extra mile and it’s not about the minutes it’s about you. Highly recommended place .
Had a bad ankle injury went to York rehab as I had a good experience there before. This time not so much my physiotherapist didn't seem to really care that much and wouldn't physically do anything with my ankle. Appointments got shorter and shorter every week some times only 10 minutes long and only once a week.

Went for physio for few years
We would like to thank the staff at York Rehab. My daughter suffered an injury to her ankle and foot. As a competitive gymnast it was important for her to get quality care so she would be able to return to the sport she loves. The front desk staff booked us an appointment with ease, and was very friendly. The physiotherapist not only treated the injury, but gave my daughter the tools to hopefully avoid the same injury in the future. She was given a stretch and strengthen program to use while at the gym. Thank you York Rehab we have a very happy and healthy gymnast on our hands now.
