Beautiful restaurant, was clean and inviting, as was the server. I had a chicken shawarma wrap and it was fresh and we'll made, it just was lacking any spice. This is where I felt off about the experience. I was asked if hot was ok, I said yes and got a little smile. I totally get it lol. But then there was no heat at all. I might not look like someone who can actually handle hot, but it's what I asked for. It was still tasty enough to absolutely recommend, but I personally wouldn't go back.
Its bad.... tried 4x now its dried left over meat coated in sauce. Done with this place ... donair up the street is 5x better fir same price.. not worth $20 wraps
Delicious Persian food, very friendly owners, and good prices too! We had a wonderful experience at Malata; had the Koobideh kabob as well as beef shawarma and loved it.
Ok. This might be my new go-to place in Newmarket for Shawarmas. Deliciousness!!! Ordered the Chicken Shawarma. I figured it’s the benchmark for these type of restaurants. If they can’t make a good chicken shawarma, then the rest of their menu wouldn’t be good. Well, Malata does not disappoint. Their shawarma was very tasty. Very flavourful. Definitely try them out. My next visit will be for their platters. Stay tuned!
My family is meat lover and we try good restaurants. Unfortunately, it was the worst food we ever experienced in the past. We all had to take medication to digest it. The kebab was too dry, and difficult to digest after 4 hours…. Don’t recommend it. We reviewed the reviews and we expected good quality food, however it was disappointing.
Absolutely amazing!! The best shawarma Ive tried in years! Super fresh and flavourful. Customer service is on point as well. Prices are reasonable - this place is a gem.
