We watched a production of A Christmas Carol by Marquee Theatrical Productions. We had a great time. This is a comfortable theatre with good sight lines. The sound was good and overall it was a very good venue to watch a live musical.
This place has amazing staff. I didn't catch the name of the woman who helped my husband and I unfortunately. We went for the IHD performances today and I quickly realized after sitting down that I bought tickets for the wrong show time. This was the only show my daughter was performing two dances in so I was heartbroken when I realized the mistake I made. I told the woman and she instantly said she could probably get us into the box office seats - which she did. We didn't miss a thing and she was so kind and understanding. Thank you so much! The day went smoothly and the theatre is beautiful.
Parking for our show was terrible as the school had parent/ teacher meeting. In Newmarket often the left hand doesn't know what the right hand it doing. They should communicate!
Very nice venue. The volunteers are so accommodating and polite. Very reasonable prices at the refreshment counter. Small intimate venue. No a bad seat in the house.
Staff were courteous and flexible. We got help finding accessible seating for some of our family members, and the view and sound were perfect from anywhere in the venue!
Bought tickets 6 months out and tried to return them the next day after realizing I'm away for a hockey tournament. $125 for 4 front row seats and although I got a call back they held strong to a zero return policy. I understand no returns maybe even 3 months out. But 6 months! Not a place I'm going to see a show unless I know someone who is performing.
My family loves to see live theater. We have been to several plays at NewRoads Performing Arts Center and have always enjoyed the shows. The performances are very well done and the place is very well kept. The greeters are helpful and it is always nice to get a treat during the intermission. We look forward to our next show!
