We re-ordered more paint over the phone and it was ready when we got there. Because of the size of the order, we received a discount. Jard to beat that service.
Cannot recommend highly enough! The staff are absolutely wonderful - deeply knowledgeable and very helpful. As someone inexperienced with purchasing paint, especially for a rather unique project, their expertise made the process so much smoother. Genuinely, a huge thanks to all the staff at this location. Also very efficient service! Should be your go-to store for paint in Newmarket.
Best customer service around. I have been into the store 13 times over the past 6 as we worked to redo a laundry, (original from in 1985) and then powder room (last done in 1995 in plaster swirls) from the studs up. Although we have done our own reno's before, both were challenging (pocket door/the hall wall had to come down). A pro painter we had in for a big job a few years ago would ONLY use Kleinpaint, soa great recommendation. These folks were so patient as they checked and revied old paint, matched old paint, advised on new paint, colours, and refinishing the crown molding. There were several other issues (all to do with paint/painting of course) and all were thoughtfully solved, after either being given the brush off, conflicting or bad advice at the big box stores. A busy store, I was willing to wait. We fell like I should be taking them all out to lunch!
I bought three gallons of paint from this store for $70, but to buy two more gallons of the same paint, I went to another store down town and bought the same paint for $59. When I came back and told them about it, instead of Returning the difference in price, telling me that we can't do anything! We have already sold the paint to you! Tell us in future!!
The cost of Benjamin moor paint colours is too expensive compared to other stores then when I told them I bought same product from other store more cheaper than you they said “ok we are expensive but we cannot do anything for you right now , next purchase we will match the price!!!
Sandra who works there is the most helpful amazing person. Today I called her and couldn't remember the paint I ordered yesterday. I needed another can. She was able to tell me what I ordered and said she would have it ready. I just picked it up and it was there on there on the counter. She knows so much about the different paints and about which formulas changed over time. I was in the store about two weeks ago picking up a very large order for a commercial site, and there was this man yelling at her saying she was wasting his time for having to check the formula. She stayed calm and continued on. The owner Mark so kindly explained to the man that he had ordered that paint 5 years ago according to the sticker on the can. And they need to verify the formula didn't change in the last 5 years or else Sandra will mix it and it won't match. The man then understood but he didn't apologize to her. I think its amazing that she took the time to check! Another time I was there picking up an order about 15 minutes before close. I was talking to Mark about future paints i will be needing and asking his suggestions. It was officially closing time, their tables were inside, their tills were counted, and a woman comes and says she needs paint. They kindly apologized and let her know the store is closed. She got very mad and said they had to help her because she walked there with her baby. I was thinking she should have left earlier if she needed it, but somehow she placed the blame on the store. Its situations like these where I feel people are unfair and being unreasonable. I know these are hard times and everyhting is more frustrating than normal, but the people at this store are amazing and so kind and helpful. Mark the owner is there from open to close and works harder than any of his employees. He is there right beside them. They treat everyone with respect and they never make mistakes. This store is incredible.
Great location. I get all my paint here. Such friendly and knowledgeable staff that are always extremely helpful and take the time to answer my questions and give advice. I highly recommend them!!
