My husband waited for 50 minutes for a simple chicken souvlaki dinner. He brought it home and I wanted to send him back. I've had Greek in many restaurants and never have i seen them put tomato sauce on rice. Disgusting...disappointing.
Mr. Greeks are going out of business all over and now I know why. I ordered take out and only got two sticks of pork instead of three in my original pork dinner.When I showed the cashier she told me there was three in there when she packed it. The manager came and told me that he himself had put three sticks in it. So basically these young teenagers were accusing me of taking out a stick of meat to try and scam a free one. Never in my life has something like this at any restaurant happened to me.Now the manager tells me they have cameras and he can show me there were three in there. So i call his bluff in disbelief that this is even happening over a stick of pork. I wait about ten minutes and he comes back to tell me the system is down.After another twenty minutes i got my third stick of pork. I have to say that i will never return to Mr. Greek ever again.
Worst experience ever! Please don't bother spending your money here and go elsewhere! This is the 3rd time they have mixed up something with our order. Today, after spending 45 dollars for take- out, they give our order to someone else!! (And we waited in the take-out lobby, not online!). And the manager is not helpful at all. Three strikes and your out Mr.Greek!! You've lost a once very loyal customer. Many mistakes, greasy food at times, and overall poor experiences. Just don't bother.
VERY disappointed. I've ordered here on a semi-regular basis for me and my family (so spent on average $75-100) and they will never get my business again. I ordered for pickup (so I am not about to go through my bag to check each item), and my order was shorted. When I called to let them know about the shortage and that I did not intend on ever going back, was met with an attitude that they didn't really seem to care. I might have reconsidered had the person on the phone actually CARED that the restaurant did not provide what I paid for. VERY poor customer service. And on a side note, food was lukewarm. It was a 5 minute drive, and food was in an insulated bag. I do NOT recommend them and would give them half or zero stars if I was able to.
We waited an hour and a half with two small children, only to be told "Sorry, we're down a cook" and "Your food will be out right away" (it wasn't). The manager brought us another plate of calamari - which we declined, because we didn't finish the first.When we raised a stink and tried to leave, we were told "It will literally be two more minutes" (it wasn't). It was more then 10 - and it was cold. The manager herself refused to believe us and said "I saw it on the heating pan myself - there's no way your gyro is cold" (it was - ice cold). She insisted that "NO SIR - YOU ARE INCORRECT. YOUR FOOD IS INDEED HOT". We were all flabbergasted.At this point, we were embarrassed for the wait staff and resigned to a terrible, cold meal - when the people next to us had their calamari dropped on the table. Their server picked it up off the table and dumped it back on the plate with her bare hands. When they complained about this, they were ALSO brought a second dish of calamari. When the table also refused the squid, the manager told them "Well, the calamari had been sitting out for a while - I didn't want to serve it to you, but I did it to be nice".We left. The people next to us walked out. The people next to them walked out. Another couple walked out immediately.Eat here at your own risk, it's terrible. Service is bad, food is cold. I don't even like calamari.
