This is the best salon I have ever been to! The owner, Matteo responded to my many questions with a great depth of knowledge, patience, and kindness. Christine is the stylist that did my hair and I could not recommend a better hair stylist. Her 33 years of experience ensures that your hair is under great care. Despite her expertise, she is so so humble and is always open to feedback to ensure that you leave with the hair you love. I was always told by other stylists that Asian hair was hard to lighten, but Christine proved them wrong. This salon also has the best prices that I have ever seen. One thing I really appreciate is how the prices of the colouring services like highlights and root touchups include the toner, the cut, the wash, and style! They are very transparent with their prices and will not drop hidden fees at the end of the service. If you want knowledgeable hair stylists, affordable services, and a clean salon, this is THE PLACE TO GO TO!!! Pls look at the before and after pics! They truly highlight Christine’s magic Update: I loved the service so much I took my boyfriend for a perm. We both loved the results!!
Matteo is always quick, consistent, friendly and has a very clean studio. Very flexible for bookings and my whole family now goes to Matteo. Highly recommend!
I happened to be in the plaza on other business and I dipped into the salon and asked if there was time for a cut before my husband and little guy came to pick me up. Christine welcomed me with a big smile. She cut my hair beautifully (after taking much care to listen to what I wanted) and when I asked if she had an extra moment to cut my son's (5 y/o) hair she didn't even skip a beat. The entire team at Matteo's was lovely especially after the hellish day I had and for the fact that I literally walked in on them! I am from out of town but I will be making the drive to have my hair done there from now on. I'll be back!
I've been going to Matteo for countless years and the 5 stars simply doesn't do justice. He is seriously the best barber any person can ask for. I highly recommend going to him!
Was there today for the first time. I was shocked to see such friendly staff, good prices, high level of professionalism and an overall comfort in being there. I've been getting my hair cut by Matteo for about 15 years now. Matteo does a great job and is just an all around fantastic guy. It's always a pleasure visiting his shop, everyone is very friendly. Matteo has been cutting my son's hair as well, since he was 3 yrs old.
