We drive from Mississauga to Newmarket to go to this gym. Not only for the amazing coach Jameel but also the community here is so supportive. My son is also currently doing the CIT (coach on training) and he loves it and he is learning even more from other coaches here. If you are looking for a gym for MAG, I can’t recommend this place enough. Communication is really good for parents also. Nick has been so good at helping us navigate the change last spring to this gymnastics club and very supportive.
Real Safety Concerns – Our Personal Experience Due to a last-minute cancellation of our summer plans, I enrolled my son in their summer camp starting in early July. I chose this place because it was one of the few available options at the time and seemed promising with its gymnastics, arts and crafts, and ninja room activities. On the third day of camp, when I came to pick up my son, I was shocked to find a bruise and swelling next to his eye, along with visible scratches on his other cheek. No one from the staff had contacted me about any incident during the day. When I asked the supervisor and staff what had happened, they initially said this might had happen before getting here— which I immediately clarified was not true. They accepted my correction, but the more concerning issue was that no one had any idea what had happened. No accident report was made, no staff member noticed anything unusual, and despite my son telling me he cried after falling during gym time, no adult seemed aware. There were also scratches from a separate incident that likewise went unnoticed. I spoke with the manager, who was agreed that the situation was not acceptable and that staff should have been more proactive and apologized. I withdrew my son from the program and received a refund for the remaining days. However, the emotional stress, the need to find alternate care on short notice, and the thought of what could have happened if my son had needed medical attention in thw moment of accident were deeply upsetting. I’m writing this because I believe other parents deserve to hear real experiences when deciding where to place their children. I hope this leads to better supervision and accountability going forward. Every child’s safety and well-being should be taken seriously — always.
The Pulsars team is super kind and friendly! They always make you feel welcome and comfortable, no matter what. I really appreciate how positive and supportive they are. Thank you so much for all your effort to provide a great experience for the kids and everyone at your camp. The kids loved the BBQ at the beach — it was such a fun time!
They are all polite, patient, and kind? They helped my 3 years old son to be independent, he feels comfortable and very happy to stay with his couch and no mom need anymore!
Pulsar has exceeded our expectations and welcomed our autistic son with open arms. His coach Liam is fantastic. He’s patient and teaches our son with a gentle touch. This is the first activity my son asks to go back to almost everyday.
My daughter looks forward to her class so much we have to do a countdown throughout the week. She's in their adaptive program and can't thank them enough for them being inclusive. The coaches are fun and engaging and the program director is knowledgeable on how to support the unique needs of every kid.
It was great before but now Unfortunately they changed their pollicies about make-up classes .when you have any problem and you cant take your children there ,even if it is a winter and they are sick ,you can't take any make up classes or credit your money like before which I was fine even with this part and I tried to understand it but now becouse of whether ,they closed their branch and don't give us any credit or make up class.if you guys want to close it with any reasons you should give us credit or make up class if no , open your branch ,there are lots of people that they will bring their children becouse most people are living close by.it is expensive ,I pay around 4 to 5 hundred each courses so not expecting this outcome.winter in Canada is long ,I wonder how you guys want to manage it if it is snowy so many times?
