The team at the Newmarket Food Pantry is truly incredible. The people there are kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about helping the community. You can feel their dedication the moment you walk in, they treat everyone with respect and compassion. The service they provide makes a real difference for families in need, and their commitment to supporting the community is inspiring. We’re very lucky to have such amazing people doing such important work in Newmarket. Highly recommend supporting them in any way you can.
We come to this place every year and help the facility to prepare food. A very well maintained and efficiently operated nonprofit organization. Thank you for the great effort in helping the families who need support.
The food pantry is great if you're stuck for groceries. They gave me 4 bags of food filled because I had so much expenses for moving in. Very nice staff! Thanks Newmarket food pantry, keep up the good work!

Although I have not been personally involved yet, I have read heart-warming Reviews by those ministered-to by Angelic Spirits of Love and Compassion! Recently, I was encouraged by Reports in The Era Banner of the Donations of Vince's Market, and the continuous weekly commitment of John's NO FRILLS! Can you imagine the blessed provision for those compromised with food insecurities if more of our Grocery Stores donated food products - just days before their expiry dates, when they are thrown to waste and rot in garbage dumps!
Some of the staff are fair and understanding but some staff are just down right rude and give you bad energy. I was given 3 boxes of cat food wet last time and 2 bags of drys foods and 2 cans of cat food today I told the lady with short hair I have 5 cats I showed her my cats pictures so they don't think I'm kidding she was trying to give me 1 box of cat food wet and 2 bags of dry food I told her I got 3 wet food boxes of chekien last time how come I get 1 right now and told her it's not enought for 5 cats she just said only 1 box and was not willing to even give me few cans instead of it I did talk to her manager or owner she did allow me to take few more. She said to me other people need too but apparently I don't deserve to get food for 5 cats and deserve to get what ever she say is right I feel she was rude and not understanding. Also I told her can I take banana too Another lady yelled you can take as many you like then another one said you can take 10. I don't appreciate this kind of behavior and mind you I did record this.
We should truly appreciate and admire all the hard work that volunteers do at this place. Please donate as little or as much as you can, especially during fall and winter seasons, when the need is greatest.
