We purchased a new Control4 and Sonos system for our home from Lipton's and the customer service has been second to none! The initial sale from Malcolm was seamless and the equipment arrived quickly to be installed! Thanks Malcolm! The technical team led by Josh has been superb! Not only did they do a great job on the install, but they've been there to support us post install on some issues we've had with how Rogers works with our system. Josh goes the extra mile to figure things out and is awesome at giving very clear instructions via text message or phone if it's an easy fix. He's also reached out to Rogers on our behalf to permanently fix issues. And when needed, he doesn't hesitate to make an in-home visit to troubleshoot! I was having problems with the connection between my tv, Apple TV, Rogers box and receiver. Miguel came over on the Friday evening of Labour Day Weekend and spent nearly 2 hours (!!) sorting it out. It now seems to be running better than ever with smarter remotes. He was great.
Talked to the rep and he was very honest and knew his stuff. Unfortunately i ordered a defect from amazon but they’re more than happy to take them back. Give them a try if your looking for the best headphones. The difference in quality isn’t just the price, But the right advice/setup truly matters. I highly recommend the penrose or the maxwell from audeze. Price/performance cannot be compared to any other brand i promise you!
Great place to buy great electronics from great people! I have purchased a number of Sonos products and a Terrace TV from Malcolm at Lipton's. Malcolm was always a pleasure to deal with...but overall sometimes it is the little things that leave a lasting impression. I had bought this large TV and it was not going to fit in my vehicle. Malcolm arranged for it to be delivered...without hesitation and without a delivery fee. That is the difference between a small business and the big box stores. If you are looking to upgrade your home electronics...call Malcolm or go and visit Lipton's in Newmarket! Something to note, I did not find that the prices for mainstream brand name speakers, receivers, Sonos or televisions were any more expensive at Lipton's than the big stores. Lindsay and his team have brought together a nice selection of high-end pieces that will thrill both the audiophile and those looking for a new entertainment system.
After my previous A/V Amp failed, I was looking for a replacement. I wasn't sure what to expect when I walked into Liptons but I was pleasantly surprised. I spoke with Lindsay and he was extremely helpful in helping identify my requirements and we discussed the different possibilities. I walked out with exactly what I needed at a very competitive price. He gave me several tips as to what to look for when setting it up which made the job much easer for me. Although I mostly do my own system design, at the basic level, I found Lindsay to be very respectful and a lot of help. I very much recommend this business.
I purchased two sound systems from Lipton’s in the past 4 months. The first was a small setup consisting of a Definitive Tech surround sound bar speaker, subwoofer and Pioneer amp for my living room tv. The second was a full Paradigm surround sound setup including in-wall and on-wall speakers with a Pioneer amp for my kitchen/dining room tv (main entertainment area). I dealt with Ryan the entire time and he was very helpful and knowledgeable when picking out the correct equipment for both setups. Now let me explain the outstanding customer service I received when I encountered an issue. The first setup went off without a hitch; however the second setup didn’t go smoothly. The particular model of LG tv I had wasn’t communicating properly with the pioneer amp(speakers would cut out as soon as tv was connected). After talking to Ryan about it he let me borrow a Marantz amp to try out. It worked great so I brought back the Pioneer amp and exchanged it for a Marantz equivalent. You don’t get that kind of customer service from a big box store.
