A great local farm selling fresh eggs, dairy, chicken, and baked goods. We drive here often from Toronto often and it never disappoints. On our latest visit, we bought a tray of free-range brown eggs, quail eggs, a loaf of sourdough brioche and non-homogenized milk. All the products are fresh and absolutely delicious. I’m happy to consume these organic and pure products and share them with family and friends. The service is always warm, friendly and smiling. It’s always nice to meet a family who’s not only passionate about their products, but also know how to treat their customers very well. Highly recommend Homestead farm and you know what, it makes for a nice weekend drive from Toronto!
Third time visiting this farm. First 2 experiences were pleasant but this third time we encountered very rude customer service. Originally asked for 3 cases of jumbo brown eggs but changed my mind and wanted to swap a case for free run. Got told a flat out “no” then was scolded several times about how she already brought out 3 cases of jumbo brown. Apologized for the last minute inconvenience and received very rude attitude and several eye rolls as she walked away before I finished my sentence. Definitely will reconsider returning due to the poor customer service and declining quality/ size consistency in eggs.
