John did a transmission job on my car! Took 3 weeks. Charged an arm and a leg! Most importantly speedometer and odometer don’t work after and engine light is on. He said it’s not his fault and I need to take my car to another mechanic!!!!!!VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
I was having issues with my transmission and gave John a call on a recommendation. So glad I came here, he took my car right away and had me all fixed up in no time! Car runs great now and now have a new transmission shop to always count on! Thanks John!

I am a 19 year old, I'm just learning about vehicles and how they work. John, is the most honest man in the world. He treats you with respect, doesn't make you feel foolish if you don't know something. This honestly the best transmission place you can go to. I described my problems and he told me the fixes, he easily could of taken advantage of me but instead he told me what I needed to do and the cost of doing it. If you are new to cars and are looking for a place you can trust. This is the best one (I drive an hour and some change just to go here). He is not in it for the money and if you don't believe me, give him a call and he will do everything in his power for you
I did a lot of research on where to take my 14 year old high-mileage 5-speed SUV before I committed. John and the team at TDS gave me a professional consultation and quote for the biggest repair I had ever wanted done to a vehicle. I was fortunate enough that I had only a couple of unexpected fixes required on it.... All of which I requested that he keep an eye open for, as I wanted anything important that looked broken/worn to be repaired in addition to the main job. But what was great was he got me a new part which would be able to be serviced in the future to avoid a repeat repair and it saved me money on the whole shot so the unexpected repairs were covered by the difference we had budgeted and the quote was still on point with my budget! Talk about HAVING MY BEST INTERESTS AT HEART!....Not the type of story I hear often, let alone am able to tell. My little SUV drives smoother than most of the light 6-speed cars I sell! 2006 Sierra Had TDS rebuild and install Posi rear end and replace bearings and seals on rear axels. Two (2) years to the day oil leaked out of left seal and ruined brakes and required entire brake job and new seals, another $1000 repair, NO warranty provided from TDS. Took two weeks to get TDS to look at it and then they deliberately removed good wheel and wouldn't inspect the leaking wheel. Given run around. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money rebuilding drivetrain with these guys, it won't last and they won't warranty it. I was a customer. You said you only warranty 2 years. Why would someone post an issue like this if it were not a real experience? Rebuilding a rear end diff and bearings should last more than 40k and 2 years.
