On Dec 13, 2025 at 17:20, I visited Marshalls at 17890 Yonge St, Newmarket and picked up a Peanuts Microfibres Sheet Set marked $19.99. At checkout, the cashier said it was in USD and changed the price to $34.99 in front of me. The shelf tag did not indicate USD. I did not purchase, but this was misleading. I hope the store improves price transparency

We’ve been visiting this Marshalls location quite often, and every time we see Ala (store manager), our day instantly becomes brighter. She is always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful — you can tell she’s a wonderful leader and truly cares about customers and the team. Today we also had the pleasure of meeting Spencer, who is just as amazing. He has such a sweet personality and a comforting smile, and he makes the shopping experience feel relaxed and positive while helping you. These two alone make a noticeable difference in the atmosphere. Their kindness and customer service make the store feel warm and inviting — and it’s even more enjoyable browsing through all the great deals because of them! It’s okay but for a massive store you would think they would have more than one bathroom. I had to wait in a long line with a toddler wanting to use the bathroom.
Best Marshall in town? probably. Prices on shoes are getting slightly higher than usual but you can still find stuff on clearance and the prices for glasses are good. Someome is unfortunately returning used in this plaza so id check my product twice.
Best Marshall's I've ever been in! It's always really well organized and spacious. Have found brands and items here I've never seen at others . Found some real steals on brand name products.
