I really enjoyed the Digital Design and Woodworking Workshop with instructor Marcello Nicolo. He was very knowledgeable and supportive. He dedicated time to answer questions and ensure we achieved all the course objectives. I came in with no experience and gained both woodworking skills and CNC essentials. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I would highly recommend the space and course for hobbyists.
I came across this place when I signed-up to Marcello's digital fabrication course. Marcello is a great guy & a dedicated instructor, and the course itself was a compelling combination of woodworking basics, CNC programming & execution. As part of it I got access to the workshop itself which is essentially a community of experienced people eager to help, assist, support and just be a good company. Obviously the workshop is littered with cool machines and enthusiastic people who help you use them - I was able to buy lumber from a nearby mill, then joint, plane & cut to size very quickly and accurately. This is a great place for hobbyists! To be fair, I also met with professionals who used the place to start their woodworking business, but I can't testify to that being a hobbyist myself. Highly recommended for woodworkers or curious people!
I have been taking the 6 week Pottery Wheel Class with Catherine and I have to say she is absolutely amazing!! The class size is perfect, the facility is exceptional and we are all having so much fun! Only at week 2 and have already made 3 bowls and 3 mugs. If you are looking for something fun to do I would highly reccommend her and the place. They have tons of amazing programs.
Just did a one day hand building mug class with Jo. We loved it!! We had tons of time to make our mugs beautiful with designs and Jo was so kind and helpful. Can’t wait to see my mug glazed and fired!
The 3 week pottery class was so much fun we signed up for the monthly membership after day 2! The people there are all so friendly and helpful. It is a fantastic community of inspiring business owners and hobbyists.
This is a wonderful space, its a community workshop where you pay a membership for access to the tools. Really good value as they have high quality tools, industrial size thickness planer for example and all around strong tools. Would highly recommend.
I took the Railroad Spike Knife making course with my brother and some friends. It was really fun and we all walked away with a cool knife. Would definitely recommend the course for those looking for something different to do with your friends.
