This place was charged with failure to ensure disinfectants are used per manufacturer’s instructions. According to York Region, the following compliance infractions were observed on Dec. 2: Failure to ensure equipment is maintained in good repair and in a sanitary condition. Failure to ensure reusable equipment is cleaned and disinfected or sterilized between each use. Failure to use disinfectant for the appropriate contact time or at appropriate concentration, for the item(s) being disinfected. Failure to undertake required health and safety training including training in relevant practices, as required by a medical officer of health/public health inspector.
Very disappointed with the customer service at this salon. The front desk staff is consistently rude and unprofessional, and the pricing is not worth the hassle. I’ve had unpleasant interactions more than once, and I know others who’ve had similar issues. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
At first they seemed professional. Once the barber started dry brushing my son’s curls and drying it with a blow dryer I knew we were in trouble. He was suppose to cut one inch off the top, he cut off 3 inches at least before we even tell him what we wanted. Language barrier, awful fade, top cut too short and un even. $46 later. Bad experience, we will never go back.
Worst experience yet. Went in for a mid skin fade and some hair off the top. The person doing my haircut proceeded to give me a high skin fade instead. Not only this but he cut the top of my head so unevenly I had to go to another barber to get it fixed. They even had the audacity to ask me for a tip. Please dont come here as they dont listen to the customer and cut the hair they way they want to.
I’m really disappointed with my experience here. The stylist clearly lacked experience working with long hair and didn’t seem to understand what I was asking for. I came in wanting a simple cleanup, but instead my hair was cut off far shorter than I requested. They did not listen to what I wanted at all, and I walked out with a style I never asked for. I would not recommend this shop if you care about clear communication or keeping your length.
