I went in to complete the final and biggest purchase from my baby registry. Apyphany (store/toy manager) greeted me with such a pleasant smile and was superb in assisting us with purchase/check out process. Excellent customer service is hard to come by these days especially in the retail sector, and I definitely appreciated her excellent level service. I hope upper level management sees this review and give credit where credit is due. Thanks Apyphany for making our visit a pleasant one!
I can’t say that I’m too impressed with my most recent visit which was perfectly fine until the last step at checkout with a be of the young teenagers stationed there. I was offered not even a single friendly interaction. No “hello” or “how are you?”. Not even so much as eye contact, a smile or any verbal communication at all. He looked miserable. There was no offer for a bag for the many items I was purchasing that were far too many for any single person to carry and my items after being scanned and paid for were placed in disarray all over the counter and the cashier just stared at his feet while I struggled to collect my items and pile them all into my arms and ignored my request for a bag - mind you I’m visibly very very pregnant. Now I’m not one to make a scene in a public space or embarrass this young man in front of other customers and employees, so I just gathered my things (with difficulty) and left. I don’t expect much in retail anymore, but I do expect even the most basic level of customer service and human decency and I did not get to experience that today.
Why the low rating? They have toys and games for kids. Sometimes there are arts and craft classes. We can always find what we need for our growing toddler. There are four rides outside the store front on the mall side that will surely give joy to young ones. Finally some new rides.
My experience shopping from my sisters registry was great. The staff were helpful and approachable and helped resolve an issue with an item being out of stock by ordering it online for me.
